Current Fuel Shortage – Impact on Operations 27th September 2021

Following recent developments in the UK, there is currently an issue of fuel supply, initially caused by a shortage of drivers and made worse as a result of panic buying, leaving some petrol stations without fuel.

At this point, we are not aware of any issues on supplies and deliveries of units. However, the same cannot be said for our Engineers, who often must travel large distances in a single day. We are not, nor could be, aware of the issues in say Manchester, as even in Milton Keynes the situation is fluid.

It is not clear when the shortage will resolve itself. Though we hope this is a one-off spike, and normality will resume in a few days, this is far from being guaranteed. We do have some hybrid capacity, though not enough to negate the problem.

The effect of this is, that it will mean that several visits will need to be postponed and rescheduled.

We will work with all customers to keep them as updated as we can. Anyone with a journey of over 2 hours should contact us, and will have top be delayed until we can be more sure on the ability to get there and to get back.

Clearly we are very sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause.

Kind Regards
